CAPCOM Accounts

Register a CAPCOM Account
Please follow the following steps to take advantage of all Resident Evil.Net has to offer.
You will need a CAPCOM Account in order to use certain web services offered by Capcom, including Resident Evil.Net.
*Although it is also possible to login with other accounts, only CAPCOM Account registration will be explained below.

1.Click "Register" on the top page of Resident Evil.Net.

2.Enter the email address you would like to register your account with.

*Depending on your email settings the automated emails may be placed in your spam folder, please be sure to configure your email service to accept emails from capcom.com.

3.Push the "terms & conditions" link and read the content displayed, then check the "I agree to the terms & conditions" box and push "Sign up".

4.Click "send" and check your email address for the confirmation email.

5.Click the URL in the email body to view the account confirmation page.

6.Enter the nickname you want to use on Resident Evil.Net (this can be changed later).

7.Enter a password.

*Please make sure your password is not too short or easy to guess. You will need to enter it twice for confirmation.

You have now registered your CAPCOM Account.

What is a CAPCOM Account?

You must register a CAPCOM Account in order to use certain web services offered by Capcom.

Is it possible to login with accounts other than CAPCOM Accounts?

Yes.
You can login with your Twitter or Facebook accounts, although not all features can be used with accounts.
You must register a CAPCOM Account to use all features available on Resident Evil.Net.

I want to change my nickname, address, phone number, name, or other personal information.

To change your personal information, please log in, click on your username at the top right, and select Manage CAPCOM Account. Click on Personal Information to change the information registered with your account.

I want to unregister my CAPCOM Account.

To unregister your CAPCOM Account, please log in, click on your username at the top right, and select Manage CAPCOM Account. Select Unregister to close your account.

How do I remove myself from the mailing list?

Please follow these steps to stop receiving the Newsletter:

PC site users


1. Click on your username on the top right of the page after logging into Resident Evil.Net
2. Click on "Settings"
3. Click on "Features"
4. Click on "Disable" under "Newsletter"
5. Click on "Save changes"
6. Confirm the changes by clicking on "Update"

 

Smartphone site users
1. Tap "Settings" on the main menu
2. Tap "Features"
4. Tap "Disable" under "Newsletter"
5. Tap "Save changes"
6. Confirm the changes by tapping "Update"

What characters can I use for my password?

Lower and uppercase letters, numbers, and the following symbols can be used in passwords:


@ . ! $ # % & ' * + - / = ^ _ ` | { } "

I do not remember my password

Please follow these steps to reset your password (please use a PC or Smartphone browser):

1. Click on "Forgot your password?" on the login screen

2. Enter the email address you used to register your CAPCOM Account, and the security characters displayed in the image, and click on "Send"

3. Please follow the instructions in the email sent your  account

4. Log in with your new password

If the email is blocked by a spam filter, please make sure to add capcom.com to the list of approved senders in your email settings, and try again.

(The URL sent in the email is valid for 2 hours. IF you do not reset your password within the limit, please start over from step 1).

I do not remember the email address I used to register my CAPCOM Account

Please try the following steps to check if an email address is linked with a CAPCOM Account:

1. Click on "Forgot your password?" on the login screen

2. Enter the email address you want to check, and the security characters displayed in the image, and click on "Send"

   If the email address is registered, you will shortly receive a password reset email, if you need to reset your password please follow the instructions in the message.

   If the email address is not registered, an error message will inform you that no account was found. Please start over from step 2 with a different email address.

3. Once you have found the email address, you can log in using the email address and password as normal.

 

I want to change the email address registered to my CAPCOM Account

Please take the following steps to change your email address:

1. Log into Resident Evil.Net using a PC or smartphone web browser.
2. Click on your username at the top right of the page, and then CAPCOM Account settings
3. Click on Personal Information on the left menu of the CAPCOM Account settings page
4. Click on Edit displayed next to your email address
5. Enter your new email address and password
6. Check your inbox for the verification URL
(The URL in the message you receive is valid for 2 hours. If you do not click on the URL before it expires, please start over from point 1).

I have not received the verification email for changing my email address or password

The email may have been blocked by your email service's spam filter. Please make sure that capcom.com has been added to the list of approved senders in your email settings and try again.

The URLs inside the verification emails are valid for 2 hours. If a URL should expire, please start the process again from the beginning.

I can no longer access the email registered to my account

You can still log into your CAPCOM Account even if you can no longer access your email address.
After logging in, please change your address to one you have access to.
