The Mercenaries is an extra mode unlocked after finishing the main campaign in Resident Evil 4. Over the next few articles we'll be having a look at the playable characters available in this mode.

We'll be starting off with Leon. As the first (and initially only) character available, just about every player will need to familiarize themselves with Leon. He has a pretty standard loadout consisting of a handgun and shotgun, which makes him a little bit vulnerable to large groups of sudden enemies.

As long as you handle one enemy at a time you shouldn't have to many issues, but later on you'll want to stock up on grenades to make good use of the bonuses.
