I feel like I should share what just happened to me.
I was almost dead in Mission 1-6 on Normal, but somehow managed to keep just enough life to earn the Completion Medallion. As I dashed back to break the medal, I recklessly ran past a cyst which instantly took me out.
I hope this serves as a warning, always check your surroundings!
